21 students from Agora Lledó International School to Travel to Miami for the Prestigious Youth Leadership Event

This coming autumn, 21 students from Agora Lledó International School will embark on an unforgettable experience as they take part in the Youth Leadership Encounter, the largest international youth leadership event organised by the International Schools Association (ISA).

This prestigious gathering, which will be held in Miami from the 25th October to the 1st November, will bring together over 150 young people from 15 countries across four continents. Under the theme ‘Leadership Across Oceans: Uniting Cultures to Preserve Marine Ecosystems’, participants will reflect upon and discuss global leadership and the conservation of marine ecosystems.

Throughout the week, students will collaborate together to develop innovative solutions that promote ocean preservation. In the lead-up to the event, and continuing through to October, the students will also conduct a study on shark eggs in collaboration with the Fundación Azul Marino, the findings of which they will present in Miami.

The event is being organised by Avant Garde Academy, which has put together an enriching programme featuring workshops, lectures, and collaborative activities. These initiatives will allow students to strengthen key skills such as critical thinking, leadership, and global awareness.

For the Agora Lledó International School, participation in this event represents an exceptional opportunity to reinforce the international values of its educational model. Furthermore, it will enable its students to acquire essential tools for their personal and professional development, preparing them to take on leadership roles in an ever-evolving world.

During the event, the students from Agora Lledó International School will deliver their own presentations on the central theme ‘Leadership Across Oceans’ and will also participate in workshops alongside experts in the field. This interdisciplinary experience will further strengthen their commitment to sustainability and global responsibility.

Agora Lledó International School’s presence at this event reflects its dedication to shaping globally minded citizens and reinforces its philosophy of inspiring young people to become agents of change in building a better future.
