Agora Lledó at the ISA Youth Leadership Meeting: The Future of World Heritage in the Hands of Committed Young People

The Youth Leadership Encounter held from 27th October to 2nd November in Istanbul was an incredible success, and Agora Lledó had the immense privilege of participating with a delegation of 14 highly committed students.

Organised by the International Schools Association and hosted by Istanbul International School, this seven-day event brought together over 130 young people from 14 schools around the world to address the crucial challenge of World Heritage Management.

Our students fully embodied the values of commitment, solidarity, preparedness, and global awareness throughout the encounter. In every activity—from workshops and interactive sessions to presentations on the heritage of each participating country—our students demonstrated a deep connection to their culture and a genuine dedication to preserving world heritage.

They also immersed themselves in Istanbul's cultural richness, visiting iconic sites and experiencing firsthand the importance of protecting our global cultural heritage. The week concluded with a farewell dinner and an awards ceremony for each delegation, celebrating the hard work and dedication of these future leaders. This encounter showed that, with a compassionate and committed youth, the future of global leadership and heritage preservation is in safe hands.

We couldn’t be prouder of our students.
