Agora Lledó International School finalists in the Tes Awards for International Schools 2025

We have news that fills us with pride, but above all, reaffirms the wonderful community that we are!

Our school has been shortlisted for the prestigious Tes Awards for International Schools 2025 in the Community Engagement Initiative of the Year category, making us one of the 8 finalists worldwide.

These awards bring together schools from across the globe to recognise projects that inspire and deliver real value to education.

The initiative that has been recognised is our support campaign for the Colegio Nuestra Señora del Socorro school in Benetússer following the devastating flash floods (DANA).

Together We Transform Adversity into Hope

The situation in Benetússer was dramatic: the water reached over a metre inside the Colegio Nuestra Señora del Socorro school, destroying materials, furniture, and leaving the entire educational community in a state of immense vulnerability.

From the first days of the tragedy, our school mobilised immediately. We launched a massive solidarity campaign involving families, students, and national and international businesses.

Thanks to this incredible support network, the Colegio Nuestra Señora del Socorro is now progressing with its reconstruction and, most importantly, the students have regained their enthusiasm.

We had the opportunity to visit the school and hear the testimony of its Pedagogical Director, Amparo Sánchez, first-hand. We were deeply moved to see that, despite the pain and material losses, the spirit of their community remains intact.

Sharing a nomination with other excellent schools is an honour, but what truly inspires us is knowing that our achievement reflects who we are and how we approach education:
