Luis Madrid obtains the role of Chair Evaluation awarded by the IB

Luis Madrid, Executive Director of Agora Lledó and Agora Madrid International Schools, and ISA Treasurer has achieved the professional role of Chair Evaluation that grants the International Baccalaureate worldwide, and becomes the only education professional in Spain to be recognized with this professional profile, once he has passed the demanding training period carried out this summer, for which he was selected at the end of the course.

The role of “Chair Evaluation”, once again places Lledó School and Agora Madria as a reference worldwide, since the achievements obtained by the school in the results of the International Baccalaureate Diploma in the last five years, placing it as the best IB school in Spain, have undoubtedly helped the IB organization to look at its top representative as a reference for the prestigious position.

Currently, Luis Madrid, is the Executive Director of Agora Lledó and Agora Madrid, belonging to the prestigious educational group Globeducate, and last year he had already achieved the role of “Evaluation Leader” and “Programme Leader”, having had the opportunity to evaluate several schools during the past year, which has opened the doors to be considered for this new professional profile, the highest level of evaluation worldwide of the International Baccalaureate, to which belong more than 6000 schools around the world, and almost 200 in Spain.

With this new position, Luis Madrid, will preside over the evaluation that schools make of all their programs at the same time (multi-program evaluation), leading a multidisciplinary team of professionals, while being able to accredit schools that are evaluated in parallel with other international education agencies (CIS, NEASC, ACS WASC) in the so-called synchronized evaluations.

This international recognition joins the success obtained in June by two students from Lledó school, Iñaki Chong and Pau Ferrer, who obtained the equivalent of a 14 out of 14 Spanish grades, obtaining a 45 (maximum world grade) and a 44 respectively.

With this new recognition Agora Lledó and Agora Madrid are once again placed as an educational reference on the international scene thanks to the success and recognition of the International Baccalaureate.
